SF Greek Film Festival Closing Night

The 2023 San Francisco Greek Film Festival, wrapped up its 20th anniversary event with a closing night event on Sunday, April 30. The films shown at the Delancey Street Screening Room, on the Embarcadero adjacent to San Francisco Bay were the dramatic feature .DOG, preceded by the short comedy film SHORT DRAFT. After the films, the revelers followed along to the adjacent hall for the closing night party. The Greek band Mythos raised the festive mood with a set of live Greek music. Among the notables at closing night were filmmakers who had shown their work earlier in the week: A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TEDDY BEAR director Vassilis Xiros, and MY PEOPLE director Anna Rezan. The entire SFGFF team was on hand: Executive Director Kleon Skourtis, Director Maria Nicolacakis,  Director Katerina Mavroudi-Steck, Chair of Events Receptions Tatiana Drakaki, Audio Visual Director Panos Gakis, Hospitality Coordinator Alexander Germanacos, and Chair of Hospitality Aggeliki Karantzas.
