SF SPCA Hosts Second-Annual “Meet the Stars” Reception

The San Francisco SPCA has launched the holiday season in style, hosting their 2nd annual “Meet the Stars” reception on November 14th at Maddie’s Adoption Center. Friends and supporters of the organization spent the evening celebrating the launch of the 38th-annual Holiday Windows event, and meeting the adorable (and adoptable) kittens and puppies that will star in Macy’s Union Square windows from November 22nd through December 31st.

Notable attendees that day included SF SPCA leaders Curt Kirschner (Board Chair), Leslie Baker (Board Vice Chair) and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Jennifer Scarlett. Lucky partygoers also got the chance to cuddle with the day’s true VIPs: the furry friends on hand to remind guests why they were there. Since 1868, the San Francisco SPCA has been advocating for animals and fulfilling its mission to ensure every companion animal has access to quality medical care, compassionate shelter and a loving home.
