The 2024 San Francisco Greek Film Festival celebrated its Closing Night for its 21st edition with on Sunday, March 23, with a sold out event at the Delancey Street Screening Room.
The event was highlighted by recognitions from San Francisco Mayor London Breed’s office, San Francisco Supervisor Matt Dorsey’s office, a warm tribute from Delancey Street’s Mimi Silbert, and screening of the film THE PROMOTION, with its director Periklis Choursoglou in person visiting from Greece. The post-film reception was filled with notable guests, such as film industry luminaries Sid and Nancy Ganis, and included presentation of film awards, with two of the honorees present: Choursoglou for THE PROMOTION, and Eva Nathena for MURDERESS / FONISSA.
