The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Portland

New bloom in the Rose City

Rising above the Rose City’s historic downtown district, the new Block 216 tower has transformed the city skyline. With thirty-five floors, the $600 million project is one of the city’s most luxurious hotels, and it began welcoming guests to The Ritz-Carlton, Portland in October 2023. Its sleek, glass exterior wows with reflections of the surrounding green hills and neighboring buildings, shining like a beacon of change. Since construction began four years ago, it has been a financial catalyst, attracting an additional $3 billion in development to Portland’s downtown.

Covering a full city block, the 35-story, 251-room hotel is the first Ritz-Carlton property in the Pacific Northwest. In addition to the hotel, on floors 21 through 35 The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Portland features 132 Residences in one-, two-, and three-bedroom formats, each with a private balcony. Footprints range from 1,100 to 4,000 square feet, including Penthouses on the 32nd through 35th floors.
