Mission Dolores Academy’s Benefit Luncheon, April 27th, 2023

Mission Dolores Academy celebrated its annual Benefit Luncheon on April 27, 2023 at San Francisco’s new and noteworthy venue, The Conservatory at One Sansome. This year’s theme, “There’s Something About Charlie”  honored school founder, Fr. Charlie Gagan, S.J. , celebrating his tireless advocacy to make educational opportunities accessible to all.

Chairs Kendel Qvale Duford and Michelle Curtis Harris led the festivities which included a musical performances by the MDA’s Kindergarten and  Third Grade students, student project showcases, and a live auction — along with a surprise visit from Fr. Charlie’s long-time friend, Alessandro Palazzi, from Dukes in London.

Mission Dolores Academy (MDA) is a richly diverse Kindergarten through Eighth Grade, independent, Catholic school located in the Mission District of San Francisco. MDA aims to educate as many under-resourced children as possible, regardless of their families’ socioeconomic status, and to graduate students who are confident, lifelong learners academically prepared to succeed in our global world.
