Fabulous FOG Fair After Party Hosted at Jessica Silverman

Gallerist Jessica Silverman celebrated the FOG Design+Art Fair at her Chinatown gallery on January 23, to highlight the artists represented at Silverman’s Booth 110.  Artists, collectors, curators and dealers gathered among the hanging bronze bells created by Davina Semo for her solo show, “A Serious Celebration,” and the new paintings by Julie Buffalohead for her exhibition, “The Wisdom of Wild Things.”

The main focus of the private afterparty were Booth 110 participants. The selection of works was called “Come Rain or Shine,” as a nod to the use of weather as a metaphor for human experience. The booth featured work by Sadie Barnette, Andrea Bowers, Luke Butler, Judy Chicago, Sam Falls, Julian Hoeber, Loie Hollowell, David Huffman, Julia Isídrez, Isaac Julien, Dashiell Manley, Tomokazu Matsuyama, Masako Miki, Clare Rojas, Rupy C. Tut, Catherine Wagner, Pae White and Margo Wolowiec. Through painting, sculpture, tapestry and photography these artists are investigating the atmosphere of our times.
