“Dear San Francisco” by Club Fugazi & KRON4 Salute the City with Live Performance

KRON4 News and Club Fugazi collaborated on an event celebrating San Francisco. The event on December 10, which blended Club Fugazi’s show “Dear San Francisco” with KRON4’s series “This Is Our City,” celebrated the City by the Bay in all of its greatness, while looking ahead to an even brighter future. The exciting live show combined testimonials from KRON4’s weekly series with acrobatics by performers from “Dear San Francisco’s” immersive show.  

Prior to the performance at Club Fugazi, audience members were asked to write letters to San Francisco, and a selection of those letters were read aloud during the performance. Guests were treated to an assortment of small plates and bites sourced from local purveyors, plus an adventurous selection of wines and beers that reflected Club Fugazi’s Italian roots. “Dear San Francisco” co-producer and executive director at Club Fugazi David Dower said of the show,  “It’s a very emotional journey for people who love the city, or even for people who are struggling or wrestling with the city. It’s a reminder of why the city is worth wrestling for.”
