On October 30 Project Glimmer hosted See It, Believe It, Be It, its annual benefit and luncheon. Since its founding in 2010, Project Glimmer has been committed to addressing gender and racial inequality, and helping girls break the cycle of poverty. Through programs like Gifts + Goods, Empower Events, 1:1 Coaching and the Empowerment Academy, the organization is helping uplift the leaders of tomorrow.
This year, Project Glimmer was proud to honor Dominique Crenn, celebrated chef and owner of the three-Michelin-starred Atelier Crenn, and Bianca Gates, co-founder of Birdies, as Star Award recipients. In a highlight of the ceremony, three Empowerment Academy graduates shared their inspiring stories of transformation and how Project Glimmer shaped their futures. All proceeds from See It, Believe It, Be It will directly support programs that build confidence and readiness, and provide pathways to an empowered future.
