Peninsula Volunteers Host Fabulous Fundraiser “Get Back” . . . A Beatles Bash

Peninsula Volunteers, Inc. (PVI) held its annual bash on September 14, and this year asked its VIP guests to come together for a chart-topping fundraiser in Woodside. “GET BACK”… A BEATLES BASH brought together an intimate group of generous philanthropic sponsors and guests to Fund the Future of PVI’s mission of Enabling Seniors to Age in Place. Guests first enjoyed cocktails by the pool, with the chance to find a 1-carat diamond from  Gleim the Jeweler in their champagne glass. They then adjourned to a gorgeously tented riding arena for a sumptuous seated dinner provided by McCalls.

As soon as dinner ended, the partiers were on their feet for a fantastic live show from RAIN: A Tribute to the Beatles. The electrifying concert celebrated the timeless music of the legendary Fab Four. With note-for-note precision, the performance transported guests back to the iconic eras of Sgt. Pepper and Magical Mystery Tour, playing all of their favorite hits.

Proceeds from the unforgettable night will benefit PVI’s senior services, including Rosener House Adult Day Services, Nutrition Services including Meals on Wheels, Ride PVI Transportation Services, Customized Solutions for Family Caregivers and Little House – The Roslyn G. Morris Activity Center, the first suburban senior center in the nation, established in 1949.
