In 1868, Japan’s shogun was overthrown, marking the end of feudal military rule and ushering in the Meiji era of modernization. Stern Grove Festival
Celebrating 87 years of free summertime music on Sunday afternoons in the outdoor amphitheater, this is the nation’s longest-running non-profit festival.
