Junior League of San Francisco Celebrates Long-Term Supporters at Spring Tea Party

Since 1911, the Junior League of San Francisco (JLSF) has worked to help provide essential community resources for San Franciscans in need. That work would not have been possible without the dedication and leadership of generations of women. Each year the JLSF gathers to honor the organization’s past presidents and long-term supporters.

This year the annual tea was held on March 24th in the Gold Ballroom at the Palace Hotel. The JLSF’s sustainer engagement committee welcomed eight past-presidents: Joan Boyd, Andrea Feeney, Cynthia Foster, Anette Harris, Patricia Otstott and Cammie Vail, as well as two Sustainer Emerita: Sallie Huntting and Joni Settlemier. Susie Hoganson represented both groups as a past-president and sustainer emerita.

Past presidents have led the League through thick and thin, ensuring the long-term sustainability of the JLSF. Sustainer Emerita are particularly special to the League, as they have been members for 50 years or more. The Junior League of San Francisco is committed to uplifting women in leadership, and thanks these members for their invaluable contributions to promoting the group’s mission.
