San Francisco Welcomes APEC 2023 Leaders at The Exploratorium

The culminating event of APEC was hands down the Leaders’ Welcome Reception.  Hosted by Mayor London Breed at the Exploratorium Museum, this event allowed San Francisco and our Nation to shine.  Nestled right on the Bay, this group of APEC Leaders and community partners convened to share an evening of discussion and celebration.  Remarks by President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, First Lady Jill Biden, Governor Gavin Newson and others inspired the crowds who were later wowed by a fabulous fireworks demonstration and performance by Gwen Stefani overlooking the powerful Port of San Francisco – the gateway to trade and commerce for San Francisco, the United States of America, and the world.
