On November 18th, Santa officially kicked off the resort’s third Merry Meritage event holiday season, bringing a little bit of his North Pole magic to the Bay Area, transforming the beloved hospitality hub into a winter wonderland open to guests and the public through January 7th.
A spectacular winter village in the heart of Wine Country, Merry Meritage is truly a gorgeous sparkling Christmastime escape for the whole family to enjoy. The Meritage has ongoing festivities 7-days a week through the end of its season, offering travelers from far and wide (as well as locals from their backyard and beyond) access to the largest outdoor ice-skating rink in Napa surrounded by spirited-themed decor and twinkling holiday lights and polar faux flakes! For just $25 per person, guests gain access to the resort’s courtyard wonderland & 90 minutes of rink time on the ice. For added festive fun, the resort also offers pop-up magical chandelier lit-igloos and s’mores-making fire pits scattered around the perimeter of the rink, a holiday food truck, and a very merry bar dubbed “Santa’s Tavern”! Additionally, for the first time this year, the Merry Meritage’s towering Christmas Tree has a nightly lighting ceremony with an electric LED light show and a snow shower for an extra dose of holiday cheer.
Kids who just can’t wait to tell Santa how good they have been this year need wait no longer, as he can often be found at the Meritage on the weekends. You are also guaranteed to see him when he takes a break from his busy schedule at his workshop for Santa’s Story Time (and remember you are never too old for Santa!). Young princesses and princes can also have an unforgettable holiday high-tea experience with their favorite royal character in the resort’s brand-new Bubbles & Blooms Champagne Tasting Room. And what screams holidays more than a great glass of bubbly? The Meritage didn’t forget about the grown-ups, also offering a new Bubbles & Blitzen unique tea experience in the Bubbles & Blooms Tasting Room featuring incredible bubble tastings paired with classical tea sandwiches and fine pastries to celebrate with loved ones.
