On Saturday, August 5th, 2023, Saks Fifth Avenue and the League to Save Lake Tahoe hosted their annual benefit fashion show and luncheon featuring an exclusive first look at the Oscar de la Renta Pre-Spring 2024 collection, designed by Co-Creative Directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia. This year, the storied event raised $1.2 million for the preservation of Lake Tahoe during its full-scale runway fashion show and elegant luncheon held at the Schumacher family home on Lake Tahoe’s iconic shoreline. The funds raised during this premier of Oscar de la Renta’s stunning Pre-Spring 2024 collection support the League to Save Lake Tahoe’s 65- year mission to “Keep Tahoe Blue” by fueling initiatives that protect the health and beauty of the Lake Tahoe Basin.
