Lifehouse, a Marin County-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), celebrated its 33rd Annual Great Chefs and Wineries gala on Saturday, May 6th at the Craneway Pavilion in Richmond, California. The event raised $700,000 that will go directly to provide quality programs and support for people with I/DD in the Bay Area. Rock legend Huey Lewis appeared as the longtime Honorary Chair for the event, and Insalata’s Chef Heidi Insalata Krahling returned as the event’s expert culinary host. Erin Loftus and Eileen Kilgariff led the Steering Committee as Co-Chairs and Sid Sall led as Wine Committee Chair. The evening was emceed by the dynamic Betty Yu, a prominent reporter for San Francisco’s KPIX.
