Frameline49 Film Festival: “Valencia” Press Line

Iconic San Francisco writer, Michelle Tea, returned to the Mission on Sunday, June 22, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of her seminal book, Valencia, with a special screening of the film adaptation of the same name. Directed by 21 filmmakers, Valencia: The Movie/s, played to a sold out crowd at The Roxie Theater. Following the screening and Q&A, attendees joined Tea for a walking tour of the Mission, which culminated in a get together at Mother, one of the city’s queer bars.
