Discover Villa & Residence Living at Four Seasons Napa Valley

Nestled in the heart of Napa Valley, where sunlit vineyards meet dramatic mountain vistas, the Private Residences at Four Seasons Napa Valley offer luxurious accommodations and are in close proximity to famed wineries and activities.

During my recent visit, I stayed in their exclusive Four-Bedroom Residential Villa, complete with a private pool and stunning views of Napa Valley’s vineyards and mountains. This Residence is one of the resort’s Crown Jewels, often described as the pinnacle of wine country luxury.

At Four Seasons Napa Valley, luxury goes beyond opulent accommodations. Personalization is at the heart of every stay. The dedicated team ensures your every wish is brought to life, making your trip nothing short of magical. To learn more, we interview Robby Delaney, General Manager of Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley.

What makes a stay at a Private Residence worth it?

It’s the combination of space and service that creates magic. You wake up to a private yoga instructor setting up on your terrace. Your fridge is stocked with everything you requested—from local cheeses to that specific oat milk brand.

While you’re out wine tasting, your chef is already prepping lunch in the kitchen. When you return, the spa team is ready for in-villa massages.

The beauty lies in how the villas adapt to your vision of the perfect day. Some afternoons, we’ll set up watercolor classes on your terrace — painting the vineyards with a glass of rosé in hand. Other days, our sommelier transforms your patio into a private tasting space, pouring rare library wines you won’t find anywhere else.

Evenings might be cookie decorating with the kids or making s’mores around the fire pit. Or simply unwinding with friends on the terrace, bottles open, conversation flowing until the stars appear — your own private wine country retreat.

You’re not just renting a house, you’re getting an entire team when you want them, complete privacy when you don’t, and the most breathtaking views in the valley, cradled by the Palisades mountains and rolling vineyards.

Can booking a Residence save you money if you’re traveling with couples/family?

Yes. Rates for our Three-Bedroom Residences start at $4,950 per night, making them a smart and luxurious choice for families or groups. With up to four bedrooms, when split among couples or relatives, the cost often comes in below booking multiple suites — yet offers exponentially more space, privacy, and personalization.

Do your residences cater to different needs?

Absolutely. Groups of friends take over entire villas for wine country reunions — each with their own suite, coming together for dinners on the terrace or soaking in the hot tub. Some couples choose the three-bedroom with a private pool for an anniversary escape.

Corporate groups love how the open layouts work seamlessly for casual meetings over wine on the terrace. Families book our four-bedroom villas for milestone birthdays.

Each residence offers something unique — one features a saltwater dual plunge pool perfect for hot and cold therapy, while others include a private pool for sun-soaked afternoons or a hot tub for stargazing with a glass of Calistoga Cab.

What sets the villas apart is something you simply can’t get in a hotel: complete privacy. We’ve hosted A-listers who choose our residences specifically so they can read a book or sip their morning coffee in the garden without anyone knowing they’re here.

Private entrances, secluded pools, in-villa everything. These aren’t hotel rooms—they’re actual homes with distinctive character and the legendary service of Four Seasons, offering total comfort and discretion at the highest level.

What do you wish more people knew about your residences?

That they’re incredibly flexible — and each one is entirely unique. People often assume you need a big group, but some of our most memorable stays are couples who simply want more space to spread out.

Villa & Residence Rentals come with full access to resort amenities, including the spa, three restaurants, two pools, Kids For All Seasons, and on-site winery. We host bachelorette groups where everyone gets their own suite, brides who transform villas into glam studios, families who bring a nanny and still enjoy privacy, and multi-generational trips where grandparents have quiet space while kids play.

Each villa has its own personality — distinct layouts, design, and amenities. One might feature a private pool perfect for afternoon lounging; another offers sweeping vineyard views from every room. And we’re continuing to evolve. This summer, we are unveiling new additions like a saltwater plunge pool, hot tubs, and a bocce court.

What many don’t realize is how transformable these spaces are. We’ve turned terraces into private dinner venues, living rooms into bridal suites with hair and makeup stations, hosted outdoor cinemas in the gardens, and cookie decorating parties in the kitchens. With Four Seasons service and these one-of-a-kind homes, it’s the pinnacle of wine country living offering a true residential experience with every imaginable luxury.

Vineyard Three-Bedroom Estate Villa with Pool

I’d place our Vineyard Three-Bedroom Estate Villa With Pool in the same category as the four-bedroom. It’s our showpiece — complete with a stunning eucalyptus bar, a gated pool surrounded by vines, and expansive indoor-outdoor entertaining spaces. Watching the sunset from that bar with a glass of Cab in hand is one of those quintessential Napa Valley moments.
