Tiburon Residence Transforms for Belvedere-Hawthorne Nursery School Benefit

Tiburon’s rolling hills provided the perfect backdrop for “Tulum: We Are One,” a Belvedere-Hawthorne Nursery School benefit on May 31. Families and supporters gathered at a private residence, for an unforgettable Mexican-inspired benefit filled with food, music and laughter. The Tolson Family-sponsored event, organized by Rosalie Tolson and Andrea Moorer, showcased Party Curations’ creative design vision through dramatic décor, including a towering pampas grass chandelier and a Mayan ice sculpture.

The celebration took place across the home’s multiple levels, featuring DJ Yuka Yu in the lounge while DJ Ragbar and percussionist Makinde Peçanha commanded the main dance floor. Guests including Ryan Morris, Riyo Kaspar and Russ and Myka Keil enjoyed Liberation Foods’ coastal Mexican cuisine, and discovered the special window where guests could “Ring for Margaritas.” Five Mountains Tea created a serene zen tea corner for guests to unwind, while Fun Frame Photos kept the energy high with themed photo props that had everyone laughing. The cultural celebration reached its peak with a surprise performance by Calpulli Tonalehqueh Aztec dancers, whose traditional dance and music honored Mexico’s rich indigenous heritage. Funds raised at the event will support Belvedere-Hawthorne Nursery School’s evidence-based curriculum, geared to children’s optimal growth and development.
