OLE Health Foundation Raises $3.3 Million for New Calistoga Center

The OLE Health Foundation achieved a remarkable fundraising milestone during its annual Vida OLE! celebration, raising $3.3 million over three spectacular days in Napa Valley to support construction of a new Up Valley Health Center in Calistoga. The weekend’s centerpiece was an auction on September 20 at Casa Quintessa, which witnessed extraordinary generosity highlighted by the announcement that the facility will be named for longtime board member Rick Jones. Jones kicked off the Fund-A-Need with a $500,000 pledge, bringing his total campaign commitment to $1 million and prompting philanthropist Stacy Jacobs to match with an additional $500,000.

Foundation Board Chair Naoko Dalla Valle, founder of Dalla Valle Vineyards, hosted a celebration that began with Thursday’s Visionaries Luncheon at Burgess Cellars honoring the Trinchero Family Estates with the John Shafer Visionary Award, followed by intimate vintner dinners at prestigious estates including Dalla Valle Vineyards, Darioush and Reverie II. The Saturday evening auction, overseen by auctioneer Fritz Hatton and energized by band The Freshmakers, featured the night’s highest bid of $470,000 for the Dalla Valle Vineyards Big Bottle Dinner. Other coveted lots included golf at The Eden Club at Pittormie Castle and an all-inclusive weekend at Brush Creek Ranch. The successful fundraising haul brings OLE Health closer to opening an 11,000-square-foot facility that will serve up to 10,000 families annually with comprehensive primary care, dental, behavioral health and pharmacy services, addressing critical healthcare access needs for Napa County’s essential workers regardless of insurance or ability to pay.
