Fall Workshop Series

h2hotel invites guests and locals alike to celebrate the season with its Fall Workshop Series. Designed to highlight the bounty and beauty of Sonoma’s harvest, the workshops offer hands-on experiences led by expert local artisans.

Sweet Taste of the Harvest: Fall Foods Workshop
Saturday, October 25, from 2 to 4 p.m

Celebrate the bounty of Sonoma’s fall harvest with its Sweet Taste of the Harvest: Fall Foods Workshop. Led by Lisal Moran of Parker Hill Provisions, participants will craft three seasonal treats – Fall Fruit Zeppole, Cabernet Granita, and Spiced Pumpkin Butter – while learning tips on preserving fall produce, pairing ingredients with seasonal flair, and adding a touch of gourmet to their pantry staples.

Guests will take home their jar of spiced pumpkin butter, a packet of recipes, and new culinary know-how to bring the taste of Sonoma’s harvest into their own kitchens. Local wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be served to complement the experience.

Fall Foliage to Fashion: Leaf Printing Workshop
November 9, from 2 to 6 p.m

Experience fall foliage in a whole new way with h2hotel’s Fall Foliage to Fashion: Leaf Printing Workshop. Led by natural dyer and educator Lisa Rogers of Slow Digz, this four-hour session explores the botanical eco-art of leaf printing. Guests will craft a one-of-a-kind piece using fall foliage gathered from Sonoma County on a pre-mordanted 11×60-inch silk textile. As pieces simmer, participants can try their newly minted technique on paper with other colorful leaves while enjoying light bites, a glass of local wine, or a seasonal mocktail.

“These workshops are really a love letter to Sonoma in the fall,” says Circe Sher, co-founder of Piazza Hospitality, the team behind h2hotel. “We want guests to leave feeling more connected to this place, and maybe even a little inspired to bring some of that spirit home with them.”

Whether you’re a visitor or a local, h2hotel’s Fall Workshop Series is fun way to embrace the magic of autumn in wine country
