PARCA’s ‘Pink Palace’ Gala in Hillsborough Raises Record Funds for 1,000 Local Adults & Children with Developmental Disabilities

On May 14, the PARCA Auxiliary, the fundraising arm of Partners and Advocates for Remarkable Children and Adults (PARCA), hosted its 36th Annual Luncheon and Fashion Show, “PARCA Pink Palace,” at an elegant private Hillsborough residence to galvanize support and deepen community engagement for its mission. Throughout the afternoon, PARCA leadership, alongside individuals who benefit from its services, offered compelling insights into PARCA’s strategic work and its profound commitment: to empower over 1,000 local adults and children with developmental disabilities to live with dignity, choice, and inclusion.

The assembled guests rallied behind PARCA’s focus on providing lifelong support and fostering opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities—a vital endeavor that addresses ongoing and diverse needs within our community. The afternoon also featured an exquisite luncheon by Paula Le Duc Fine Catering and an exclusive fashion show presented by SAM MALOUF Authentic Luxury, which showcased designs from Dries Van Noten, Isaia, and Khaite against a glamorous “Beverly Hills Hotel” backdrop, while an exciting live auction and heartfelt fund-a-need segment further fueled the day’s philanthropic spirit. Thanks to the remarkable generosity of attendees, the PARCA Auxiliary achieved record fundraising to advance its crucial work. These funds will bolster PARCA’s diverse array of services, including individualized support programs, essential resources for families and caregivers, and initiatives that champion the unique hopes and dreams of each person served.
