Salvation Army’s 2025 Gala Lights The Way to a Better Future

The Salvation Army’s Lighting The Way Gala lit up The Conservatory at One Sansome on May 15, raising critical funds for essential programs and services. It was an evening filled with heart, hope and community, as the guests came together to celebrate the Army’s life-saving work with some of San Francisco’s most vulnerable residents. The event raised over $1 million in support of The Way Out, the Army’s transformative, recovery-centered response to homelessness.

Gala attendees were welcomed with a reception catered by graduates of the Army’s Culinary Training Academy, followed by a sit-down dinner accompanied by an uplifting program of testimonials. Army supporters kept the party going into the night, and festivities concluded with an afterparty at Holbrook House, leaving guests with the memory of deepened connections and shared inspiration.
