Red Curtain Addict debuted its inaugural Bay’s Stage Arts Soirée on March 27 at Local Edition, celebrating the creativity and diversity of San Francisco’s performing arts scene. The sold-out evening welcomed artists, arts leaders, and supporters for an immersive night of live performances, gourmet bites, and curated cocktails.

Co-founders Kari and Parker Coomans unveiled Red Curtain Addict’s new tech platform, designed to simplify arts discovery by offering personalized performance recommendations. “This has been a dream come true,” Kari shared. “We wanted to create something that helps audiences explore the arts with ease and excitement.”

The event featured standout performances by Festival Napa Valley, ODC, Community Music Center, SFJAZZ, One Found Sound, and San Francisco Opera. Highlights included a cello duet, a Latin jazz ensemble, a custom ballet performance, and a show-stopping operatic finale that brought the room to its feet.

Mayor Daniel Lurie made a surprise appearance, reinforcing the role of the arts in revitalizing the city: “This is what makes San Francisco so special.”
With support from sponsors like Glenfiddich, Hendrick’s, Alexis Bittar, The Caviar Co., and more, the evening marked a bold step forward for arts engagement in the Bay Area—blending innovation, access, and celebration in one unforgettable night.
