Family House San Francisco held their annual gala fundraiser on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in San Francisco. The 43rd annual event honored Marcia and George Argyris for their long-time support of the organization, which began with a seed campaign before Family House first opened its doors in 1981. At this year’s swank soiree, over 350 attendees helped raise $1million for Family House’s mission to provide support and amenities for families of children with life-threatening illnesses.
“Magic Gala 2025” featured an elegant dinner with a special spring menu of beef tenderloin, Bloomsdale spinach with pomegranate seeds and a rich chocolate tart with fig jam and apple compote. The evening also included a curated live auction of once-in-a-lifetime experiences, an electric dance floor fueled by the beats of San Francisco Giants’ resident DJ, DJ Umami and a live show from Catalyst Arts Cirque performers. All event proceeds fund direct services provided to families, including temporary housing, meals and amenities for families with a child being treated for cancer or other life-threatening illnesses. All services are offered 100% free of charge.
