Find Summer Wellness at Rosewood Sand Hill

Don’t let the business park façade mislead. Rosewood Sand Hill, though situated within the heart of Silicon Valley’s line-up of venture capital offices, is all about rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation. Located on 16 prime Menlo Park acres with the Santa Cruz Mountains to the west and Stanford University to the east, Rosewood Sand Hill can’t help its buzzy energy; it’s part of its charm. But this is a resort that also knows how to chill, illustrated by a variety of programs and amenities that promote the ultimate in wellness.

This is a resort that knows how to chill.

Rosewood Sand Hill’s state-of-the-art spa provides proof that this is first and foremost a resort at which to relax. Sense®, A Rosewood Spa is a serene and decadent sanctuary where personalized services ensure a tranquil escape. A new partnership with the luxurious European skincare brand QMS Medicosmetics further elevates the spa experience with a menu of customizable facials such as a revitalizing Collagen Renewal facial featuring a high-performance collagen system designed to deliver superior results. The award-winning German brand developed by medical and beauty experts is one of the icons of medical-grade luxury cosmetics, delivering high-performance skincare with 97% skin-identical collagens that help to eliminate the causes of skin aging and deficiencies. The spa’s estheticians were instructed by QMS international trainer Rowan Hall Farisse who designed each of Rosewood’s signature treatments including the QMS Revitalizing Fire and Ice Facial, The Plus One Prenatal Facial, a Purifying Men’s Facial, and the QMS Brilliancy. The full treatment menu can be found here.

Rosewood Sand Hill has also recently introduced exclusive Bryte Sleep Suites. Backed by sleep science and powered with AI, The Restorative Bed™ by Bryte enables the ideal sleep experience by learning sleeper’s support and temperature preferences, and adjusting in real time, throughout the night. 100 computer-controlled air cushions within the bed alleviate pressure points by continually recalibrating the body support needs, encouraging longer and more restorative sleep. The technology further leads sleepers naturally out of sleep with warming temperatures and lighting that mimics the glow of sunrise, while also offering the option of movement to gently nudge and softly awaken sleepers at just the right time. Over subsequent nights, the bed continues to fine tune settings such as temperature and firmness to each individual, leading to significant gains in all measures of restorative sleep, including body-restorative deep sleep and mind-restorative REM sleep. Travelers can also create a portable profile that saves their preferences and continues this optimization journey over future stays at any hotel with a Restorative Bed.

Every Saturday and Sunday at 9 am, Rosewood Sand Hill hosts yoga and meditation sessions on their Cypress Garden lawn, led by local wellness coach Aldo Melo. Additionally, the spacious fitness center offers the most advanced fitness and wellness suite from Technogym®.

On the culinary front, the new Swim Club, a poolside concept by award-winning epicure Chef Seamus Mullen, known for his communal and ingredient-driven approach to Spanish cuisine, features a delicious selection of light meals and healthy snacks, served under the resort’s pool trellis or poolside, where comfy chaise lounges and reservable cabanas  provide the ultimate in leisure. (The heated-year-round, family friendly pool is the resort’s sparkling center piece, and a popular summer gathering spot.) Menu highlights include Halibut Ceviche with Fresno chile, coconut, pineapple, lime and avocado served with crispy taro chips. A Watermelon & Feta Salad includes arugula, Castelvetrano olives and mint. The Grilled Avocado Taco features  Baja cole slaw, pickled peppers, mango salsa and cilantro. To compliment Mullen’s menu, new beverage offerings feature refreshing The Bad Stuff Tequila cocktails, including the Cali Cool, made with Bad Stuff Tequila’s mezcal, cucumber, jalapeno and lime.

Like the aforementioned cocktail, Rosewood Sand Hill’s understated ‘California-cool’ elegance is expressive of the Rosewood brand’s ‘A Sense of Place’ motto. From the ranch inspired exterior architecture, to central interiors in tones of walnut, cherry, and cedar, to exquisite artworks by local artists that hang on every wall and within every nook, the resort proudly acknowledges its Golden State heritage, where wellness is, and always has been, a way of life.
